Ford Motors’ CEO Alan Mulally announced at the September auto show in Paris that the company is planning to revive the Lincoln brand with new models and will be seeking overseas markets for expansion.  Following the sale of its Jaguar/LandRover brands to India’s Tata Motors in 2008, Ford is suggesting a follow-up partnership.  The new project would be a luxury compact appropriately named the Lincoln Sub-Continental.
